global relevance

DIVERSify focuses on improving the productivity and sustainability of European agriculture using an approach that has global relevance, learning from the experience of international partners. DIVERSify will analyse information and best practice for plant teams from international partners in Kenya and Palestine with expertise that extends the knowledge and range of crop system types examined in the project.

ICARDA partners will test plant teams in dry environments that are likely to reflect future growing conditions for many parts of Europe. DIVERSify’s international co-operation with partners in Africa and the Middle East provides a global dimension to the project’s research, ensuring the project contributes to international sustainable development goals.

The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under agreement No. 727284.
